If you can see the network "freewiMAN@free" (basic name assigned by wiMAN) or "freewiMAN@nameofthevenue" (network name personalized by the owner), but you can't log in and surf the Internet, check whether your modem/router is connected to the Wiman router through the network cable.
If the network cable is properly connected, perform a reset:

1. Turn off your modem/router
2. Turn off the Wiman router (unplug the power supply to turn it off)
3. Turn on your modem/router
4. Wait a few minutes and turn on the Wiman router (plug the power supply again)

The number of users the Wiman router can simultaneously support amounts to 250. Naturally, the connection speed decreases with the increase of connected users, since the bandwidth is divided among everyone equally.

Yes. The Wiman router creates 2 WiFi networks: one public and one private. The private WiFi network has the name “private-wmxxx” (“xxx” stands for “unique number assigned to the router”) and it is protected by a WPA-2 key (password).
WPA-2 key can be viewed or edited directly from the control panel:

It is preferable to keep the Wiman router and your modem/router always on. If you turn them on and off too often, connection problems between the modem and the router may occur.

The Wiman router is one of the most powerful on the market (end consumer). Thanks to its 3 models - Wiman Indoor, Wiman Outdoor e Wiman Outdoor Plus - it is able to cover, respectively, within 50 meters, 150 meters e 300 meters in open field. The spread of the signal depends on some factors, for example: a wall, a person or any obstacle can significantly affect the quality of the signal. Other devices within the venue that use the same WiFi technology (frequency 2,4 GHZ) may create interference; in this case, it can be useful trying to move the Wiman router to a different position or change the router channel through the control panel:

1. Access the "Settings" from the side menu.
2. Go to the bottom of the page - "Routers" section - and click on the pencil icon at the bottom right.
3. In the "Router settings" section, enter the new Channel in its box.
4. Click on "Save Setting".

We chose to use the social login to speed up the authentication procedure into Wiman hotspots. In this case, user is not forced to carry out the usual registration procedures with sms, credit card or lenghty and boring forms. Moreover, having a social profile is free.
